Introduction

As a graduate of Fresno State with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Masters of Science in Counseling with a focus in Marriage, Family and Child Counseling. Some of my accomplishments include research for kids who have autism, recipient of the community base scholarship for at risk youth. As a young professional I have a common goal of owning a private practice that is dedicated to helping individuals who battle with depression, anxiety, and deal with the impact of trauma. Over the course of my undergraduate and graduate school training I have worked in a variety of settings from troubled teens to those who have been committed to a psychiatric unit for the their mental health and drug addictions. I have facilitated group therapy for individuals that have experienced extreme trauma.During my professional career I have utilized cognitive behavior, solution focused and Dialectical Behavioral therapeutic orientation. I have taught people how their emotional state affects their behavioral patterns and helped them navigate through their mental health diagnosis. Thank you for reading a short glimpse into my journey. "In life we all are on our own individual journey as we strive to meet a higher purpose." Until we meet again stay inspired, elevate, and grow!
