I am Dr. Teresa Russell and have been providing psychotherapy to adults via telehealth for over 8 years and in-person for over 20 years. I am a Doctor of Clinical Psychology, Maryland Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor Supervisor, Maryland Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Supervisor, and a Nationally Certified Counselor. I received my PsyD. through CalSouthern University and a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Community Counseling through Chaminade University of Honolulu. I am also an honorably discharged United States Army Veteran. I work with adults, veterans, severely mentally ill, addicted, dual-diagnosed, LGBTQIA, and many other populations. I also conduct Veteran’s Affairs (VA) disability assessments. My specialty is in severe and complex mental health needs. My approach is authentic and caring. I use a variety of therapy modalities to help you achieve your goals. I will tailor our dialog and treatment to meet your unique and specific needs. I was stationed in Hawaii through the Army and lived there for over 10 years. I learned to appreciate the calmness and serenity that living in Hawaii provides.
