I believe that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, has the ability to recover from mental health and/or addiction concerns. The therapeutic space should be one that feels safe, non-judgmental, and collaborative. I meet my patients where they are in their lives and support them in moving towards the change and goals they hope to achieve. My doctorate is in traumatic stress psychology and I have a decades worth of specialization in the assessment and treatment of addiction/substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders. I am currently seeking certification in the treatment of death, dying, grief, and bereavement, and have extensive experience in treating anxiety, depression, and other mood disorders. I have a passion for and experience in working with people from diverse communities; specifically LGBTQIA+ individuals, people of color, and women. I am trained in several modalities of treatment including skills-based therapies such as CBT/DBT/ACT, manualized trauma therapies such as cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and exposure-response prevention (ERP), as well as emotion-focused therapies such as constructivism. I see patients exclusively through a secure telehealth platform with flexible hours Monday-Thursday.
