I am a licensed clinical psychologist who was drawn to the field of mental health because of my interest in identifying the internal and external resources that support people in recovering and growing in the face of stress and adversity. I firmly believe that there are few certainties in life but one of them happens to be that life changes occur and they can be challenging. In the face of challenges and uncertainty the best thing we can all do regardless of age or stage is see the discomfort that comes along with these situations as an opportunity for growth and increasing our abilities to navigate the world around us. I have spent the better part of my 10+ year career working in schools, group homes, outpatient, hospital, and university settings supporting youths, adults, and families in navigating trauma exposure, parenting, developmental issues, bereavement, relational issues, infertility, and life transitions. I am a strengths-based clinician and believe in a collaborative therapeutic relationship that allows me to provide clients with psychoeducation, challenge beliefs and behaviors that do not serve them, and empower them to make meaningful changes in their lives.
