Dr. Sarah Barnes, PhD, LCPC graduated from Northcentral University with her Master’s degree in Psychology, a Post Master’s degree in Trauma and she graduated with her PhD in Psychology in 2020. Dr. Barnes has over 13 years of experience working with children, adolescent, adults and families to address behavioral and mental health concerns. Dr. Barnes has worked in a variety of settings including; residential treatment, community-based counseling and out-patient mental health clinics. Dr. Barnes has worked with children, teens, and young adults and adults who present with several mental health and developmental challenges. She has experience providing a variety of services including building developmental skills, behavior modification, and clinical therapy. Dr. Barnes has specialized training in trauma. Dr. Barnes is passionate about others. Her approach is unique, individualized, and effective. Sarah’s approach is based on empowering individuals to be the experts on themselves by taking back their own power and creating positive lifelong changes.
