As someone with lived multicultural experience, Dr. Aleem has a keen interest in multicultural counseling and trauma treatment. She has expertise in psychotherapy with families, children, and adults and has also led self-help and support groups. She served on the Mental Health Advisory Council for Baltimore County and is a certified trainer in assessment and treatment of Substance Use Disorders.
