Dr. Rochelle Petermann PhD, is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Columbus, Georgia. She recently graduated with her PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. She has been working in the Columbus/Ft. Benning mental health community since 2015. She is an outpatient clinician with a community mental health agency and works part time in private practice. She has the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients. She uses an integrative therapy approach, combining person-centered, attachment, and existential-based therapy techniques. She works with both adolescents and adults. She specializes in Adjustment Disorders, Anxiety, Depressive Disorders, Grief and Loss, Personality Disorders, PTSD, Trauma, and Relational Conflict. In addition, Rochelle has many years of experience and training as a Christian Counselor. She blends Christian principles with clinically proven counseling techniques to maximize outcomes for clients. Her approach to the often-painful experiences life brings us is that we must "make meaning," find a purpose, and connect with others in the coping and healing process. Therapy can be a helpful conduit for personal growth and working through personal challenges.
