Introduction

I enjoying working with individuals (adolescents through older adults), couples, and families who are contending with a variety of sad and anxious feelings, and interpersonal challenges. Many of these may be based on little 't' or big 'T' traumas. The therapy work is intended to empower individuals, couples, and families find healthier and happier ways of living. My therapeutic approach is multifaceted because as people we are multifaceted. I strive to find a personalized approach that works best for each of my clients. My approach is informed by over 30 years of research on what works and doesn't work in therapy. I help individuals, couples, and families move from experiencing too much sadness and anxiety to feelings of joy and happiness. The therapy work is a combination of understanding and insight, changing patterns of thinking that aren't working, and identifying and developing healthy interpersonal interactions. I trust that you will be able to determine if I am the right therapist for you and welcome the opportunity to meet with you for a free consultation.
