Introduction

Throughout my childhood, I was drawn to easing the distress I saw in others, whether by offering a listening ear to an angry classmate, sharing advice from my own failures, or simply hugging a grieving friend. I have always supported those around me through compassion and positive encouragement. I have witnessed the pain of emotional and behavioral challenges but I have also seen how the most difficult obstacles can be overcome with support and guidance. I am always inspired by the human capacity for growth and it is my goal to be a source of comfort to others and to help them thrive from their experiences. My approach to therapy is specific to the development and experiences of my client, whether I am providing therapy to a child with frequent tantrums, a teenager overwhelmed by family conflicts, or an adult struggling to manage a work-life balance. I believe that each person is a masterpiece in their own right, influenced by their biological factors and shaped by the world around them. To honor this individuality, I use an integrative approach that appreciates the influence of family, community, culture, and other contexts in therapy. I am dedicated to the growth and success of my clients.
