Introduction

Starting therapy is not easy. It's difficult to share your vulnerabilities in general, let alone with a completely new person! I hope to create a space where you can feel safe to share your concerns and empowered to make desired changes while being met with compassion and validation. I aim to deliver treatment that is evidence-based, individualized, and person-centered. I view therapy as a collaborative process and make it a priority to ensure that our approach is tailored towards you and your needs. I have nearly 10 years of training and experience working with individuals navigating a variety of concerns, including anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, low mood, life transitions, chronic stress, interpersonal distress, and adjustment to chronic health difficulties. I also have training and a special interest in perinatal mental health (e.g., peri- and post-partum depression and anxiety, adjustment to parenthood, infertility challenges, etc.). My approach to treatment is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy, though I also frequently integrate mindfulness and acceptance techniques into my work with clients. I would consider it a privilege to support you on your journey towards making meaningful changes that draw on your strengths and help to bring you towards a life closely aligned with your values. Currently, I offer in-person therapy for adults living in the Northern VA area, and online therapy services for adults in Virginia, Maryland, DC, Massachusetts and all PSYPACT states. PSYPACT is an interstate compact that allows psychologists licensed in PSYPACT to practice telepsychology and/or practice temporarily in other PSYPACT participating states. If you reside in a PSYPACT state, I can provide you with telehealth services (see website for complete list of participating states: www.psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap). VA State License #0810008182 MA State License #:11687 PSYPACT Authority to Practice Interjurisdictional Telepsychology (APIT) #: 17125 I am an out-of-network provider; however, I can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement. If you’re interested in scheduling a consultation with me, please reach out via the contact button above.
