Introduction

I am a proud Latina from Puerto Rico and a licensed clinical social worker in Connecticut and Florida and a first-generation college graduate. My roots are deeply tied to my cultural heritage, and I bring empathy and cultural sensitivity to my social work private practice. I offer psychotherapy, clinical supervision, and immigration psychosocial evaluations, focusing on empowering individuals to overcome life challenges through a multicultural lens. In addition to holding a Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University, I have over 18 years of experience in various Connecticut state agencies, non-profit organizations, hospitals, and clinics. Since 2017, I have owned my private practice specializing in trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, and life transitions. I am committed to social justice, advocacy, and leadership, and I aim to demonstrate the inherent worth of every individual, regardless of their background or past.
