Introduction

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who enjoys working with children, teens, young adults, and their families. My experiences include having worked in community-based, private practice, and hospital (both inpatient/outpatient) settings. In therapy I mainly draw from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe that it is essential to take into consideration the unique qualities/needs of each client and family, and provide a supportive therapeutic environment to facilitate the discussion of their concerns. Therapy is a highly personal process, and nothing is more important than establishing a supportive and trusting therapeutic relationship. Through this I hope to assist my clients in being able to identify their values and commit to acting in ways that lead them to live more meaningful and fulfilling lives. My specialties include anxiety disorders, mood disorders, ADHD, behavioral difficulties, parenting concerns, life adjustment/transitions, career counseling, and issues surrounding religion and spirituality. I also provide psychological testing for ADHD, academic difficulties, as well as emotional, behavioral, and personality concerns. I am currently taking referrals for individual therapy, psychological testing, and group therapy (Teen and Young-Adult Anxiety & Depression Groups).
