Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist and my focus has centered my work around toddler and teen diagnosis and intervention, parent counseling/skills training, and family group psychotherapy. I utilize my background and training in psychodynamic, relational, and attachment-based approaches to therapy, but also appreciate when cognitive and behavioral approaches are needed. Utilizing my skills in psychodiagnostic and psychoeducational testing and therapy, I provide individualized treatment and support to children and their families. My goal is to help clients understand themselves more deeply so they can better cope with challenges and changes in their lives. I am passionate about understanding the underlying thoughts and emotions of every person or family as a whole, and healing parts of the self that are directly connected to healing the relationships we have in our lives. I strive to provide the support and tools needed to surpass the intergenerational wounds that are too overwhelming to address on one’s own. I work with my clients as a team to overcome these challenges in order to bring about self-awareness, mindfulness in choices and behaviors, and self-fulfillment. This healing can then be passed on to future generations.
