Introduction

Dr. Pulling's academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Penn State University and a Doctorate in Cinical Psychology from Ryokan College. In over 20 years of delivering mental health services Dr. Pulling has acquired broad clinical experience encompassing a wide range patients. From working with the LGBTQ+ including transgender and gender fluid youth, to Native American children and families, to some of the most severely mentally ill men and women incarcerated in California’s prison system, Dr. Pulling has made healing his focus. Dr. Pulling has a special gift with children, adolescents, young adults and has extensive experience working with adults and senior patients. He treats patients young and old using a multi-model approach that features powerful psychodynamic tools such as hypnotherapy and EMDR, targeting both the conscious and unconscious minds. In addition, Dr. Pulling utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic principles, Attachment Theory, Neuro Linguistic Programmimg (NLP), Gestalt, and Object Relations Theory.
