Introduction

I specialize in providing psychotherapy and support services to children, adolescents, parents, and families. Using evidence-based treatment (i.e. CBT) as the foundation, but tailoring treatment to each individual or family. I value a treatment approach that is collaborative, supportive, direct, and strengths-based. • Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Clinical Psychology at Kent State University • Clinical residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. • Licensed clinical psychologist in the states of Ohio and Louisiana • Over 10 years of experience working in schools, inpatient treatment settings, integrated healthcare settings, and hospitals. • Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine I treat a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral difficulties, attachment problems, family/relationship problems, parenting stress, and PTSD. I have specialized training in treating the effects of trauma and chronic stress, as working with children in foster care is a personal passion. With a background in integrated healthcare, I am comfortable working closely with your medical providers (e.g., general doctors; psychiatrists) if you request this service. I am also very familiar with school settings and am happy to communicate with teachers and other school personnel at your request.
