Introduction

Dr. Rockey has more than 30 years of experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and senior citizens. After 10 years working as a case manager with adults with severe and persistent mental illness, she obtained her doctorate from Indiana State University. During her internship, she completed rotations focused on working with children and senior citizens to broaden her experience across the age ranges. She spent 10 years working at Directions For Mental Health in Clearwater, Florida where she provided outpatient therapy to children, families, adults and senior citizens. Dr. Rockey also supervised master's level clinicians and doctoral students. Through a successful grant application, Dr. Rockey and her team were able to become members of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network where she developed additional expertise in assessment and treatment of traumatized children. Dr. Rockey returned to Indiana in 2007 to be closer to her extended family and worked at Camp Atterbury applying her expertise in trauma assessment and treatment to National Guard and Active Duty Soldiers. In 2016. Dr. Rockey opened her private practice. She is excited to offer quality mental health care in a comfortable and private environment to members of her community in Franklin and the surrounding communities.
