Introduction

Welcome. I am passionate about helping my clients make meaningful changes through action-oriented approaches that have been shown to work. I am trained in CBT, ACT, DBT, CPT, PE, ExRP, and more for trauma/PTSD, anxiety, panic, depression, OCD, phobias, tinnitus, chronic pain, tics, medical conditions, weight loss, stress, growth, and more. I have specialized in PTSD & trauma across all training, but have a general speciality in applying treatment that works to get anyone feeling better quickly. Most clients feel much better in 4-8 sessions. I often work with high-functioners (physicians, lawyers, business owners, high-profile individuals) and specialize in physician wellness. In addition to my private practice, I am a Professor of Psychiatry at a medical school and I am a TEDx speaker. I hope to help. Contact me for a free, 10-minute consultation. QUICK INFO: ‣ All sessions are by video ‣ I am private pay but most clients successfully submit for insurance reimbursement ‣ Most people benefit in 4-8 sessions, but even 1 session is helpful ‣ My session fee is $250 per 50-minute session ‣ Taking new clients TRAINING & INFO: • Ph.D. Clinical Health Psychology = University of Miami • Clinical Residency = Harvard Medical School & Boston University School of Medicine for Behavioral Medicine & Trauma • Research Fellowship = UT Health San Antonio / STRONG STAR for Trauma Psychology, 2 years • Faculty Member: UT Health San Antonio, Department of Psychiatry, Physician Wellness & Burnout
