I am a graduate from the Illinois School Of Professional Psychology. I completed my training at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago's Center for Pain Management (now known as the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab). I have worked in hospitals, outpatient mental health clinics, and long-term care facilities. I am also on staff at the Amita Neuroscience Institute. As a licensed clinical psychologist, I have experience treating young adults, adults, and geriatrics with a wide variety of psychological issues. I treat a variety of conditions such as, depression, anxiety, chronic illness, relationship issues, and life adjustment difficulties. I use a variety of theories and techniques in therapy, and I believe that no one way works for every client. I also specialize in health psychology and chronic pain. I use evidence base treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy and biofeedback to help one cope and adjust to lifestyle changes due to their ongoing health status. I treat individuals with stroke, cancer, chronic illness, memory loss, and traumatic brain injury. I also provide bariatric and spinal cord stimulator evaluations. I work from a base of interpersonal and collaborative theory. I enjoy connecting and building relationships with my clients, and have a passion for helping my clients learn about their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, and how it can contribute to the presenting issues.
