I work with individuals, couples, and families who have ongoing challenges connecting in relationships, and who experience depression, anxiety, and adult ADHD. I’m no different from the clients I see. I’ve been through wonderful and difficult experiences that have shaped who I am and how I help. Therapy helped to put my life back in order, and my own growth through personal life struggles is what helps me relate so deeply with clients. I enjoy guiding people toward positive changes and witnessing them achieve more fulfilling lives. My approach to therapy and neurofeedback is based on the latest research in neuroscience and neurobiology. I believe that by understanding the complex interplay between the brain, the body, and the environment, I can better help clients navigate the challenges they face. My style promotes a safe and compassionate space for clients to explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors. I use a range of therapeutic approaches, including emotional focused therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, Gottman Method relational therapy, and trauma-focused therapy, to help clients better understand themselves and their experiences. My work with clients is collaborative in helping them to identify their strengths, develop coping skills, and set achievable goals that can help them experience lasting change. In addition to therapy, I offer neurofeedback services (in-house and remote) that use advanced brain mapping and monitoring technology to identify and treat imbalances in brain function that can contribute to mental health challenges. Our neurofeedback services are non-invasive and have been shown to be effective in addressing conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, stress, poor memory and motivation, and substance abuse. Beyond my role as a compassionate therapist, I am a two-time award-winning author and an adjunct professor. I am a certified Emotional Intelligence (EI) trainer, certified in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), licensed brain health coach, Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional (CSTIP), ADHD Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and graduate of Biblical leadership college.
