Introduction

As a licensed psychologist since 2007, I have been able to help clients from many walks of life. I am always honored that each person trusts me to hear their story and help them on their journey of self-discovery and change. As a holistic psychologist, I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques in my sessions, based on each individual's needs. Investigating the past to understand the present, understanding your unique relational dynamics, and uncovering thought and behavioral patterns that affect you today, help me to help you. In this demanding world, where responsibility to career, family, and friends can often trump self-care, working to balance the needs of the mind, as well as the physical, spiritual and emotional self can often feel overwhelming. My goal is to help clients uncover their true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your present life. We will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Applying an eclectic approach to each client, I am informed by several schools of thought, including psychodynamic, relational, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness-based approaches. Each approach can help to elucidate the origins of psychological distress and help to guide the therapy process. Having worked as a full time clinical psychologist since 2007, it clearly evident that establishing a good rapport with my clients is fundamental. In fact, clinical research has concluded that the therapeutic relationship is actually the most important component of client satisfaction. Therefore, it is my intent to co-create a therapeutic space where clients are comfortable and open to give feedback within the therapy process. I work with a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues that span from therapy for depression, bereavement, trauma and relationship issues, to name a few. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each of my clients individual needs to help attain the personal growth they’re striving for.
