Dr. Kelly is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist skilled in utilizing evidence-based treatments to treat a broad range of diagnoses including utilization of Exposure Therapy for PTSD. She has strong psychotherapy and assessment experience from her work with Veterans Affairs Hospital Mental Healthcare, private practice, community counseling centers, and evidence-based outpatient and inpatient facilities. With treatment rooted in neuroscience, Dr. Kelly welcomes you into an accepting and supportive environment to meet your goals. She believes that it takes bravery to enter into psychotherapy and she is passionate about tailoring psychotherapy to fit the unique individual. Dr. Kelly earned her Bachelor of Arts in Education at The University of Arizona. She graduated with both her Masters and Doctoral degrees in Clinical Psychology from the APA-accredited Chicago School of Professional Psychology Los Angeles. She completed her APA-accredited Internship at the Northern Arizona Veterans Hospital where she was honored to work with Veterans from a diverse range of cultures and backgrounds. Dr. Kelly often ties in mindfulness-based therapeutic interventions such as breathing exercises and meditation from her training as a Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teacher from the Loyola Marymount Yoga and the Healing Sciences program in Los Angeles. Dr. Kelly is skilled in several evidence-based psychotherapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). She frequently utilizes interventions stemming from Interpersonal Neurobiology and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Kelly also offers psychological assessments. As a PSYPACT psychologist, Dr. Kelly is able to practice telepsychology and conduct temporary in-person face-to-face practice of psychology across state boundaries legally and ethically.
