PhD, LPC-Supervisor Heights Family Counseling
Available this week
Specialties: LGBTQIA+, Men's Issues, Work Stress, Burnout, Anxiety,

Introduction

My identity as a Gay Black Man gives me a unique passion as therapist and deep empathy in supporting the LGBTQ population with coming out, managing relationships and growing in self-acceptance. I work with a variety of presenting concerns and populations; however, my specialization is working with Gay Men, BIPOC and the LGBTQ+ community. I provide support and a nonjudgmental environment for you to process, explore and talk through your concerns. In counseling you can get tools and skills to make life changes or use the space to let out your thoughts and vocalize your stress. I also provide Supervision for LPC Associates. Taking the first step toward getting help for whatever social or emotional challenges you're facing can be difficult. Whether you're struggling with intense emotions, like depression or anxiety, reoccurring conflict in peer relationships or seeking to find some direction and purpose, you may find yourself uncertain and overwhelmed. My approach to counseling is collaborative, establishing a therapeutic relationship founded on trust and authenticity. A relationship focused on understanding you, your world and your experiences. I look forward to meeting you, providing support and your new safe space. I am currently accepting new clients at this time, with office space in Houston Heights.
