She graduated with her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia. She obtained her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her Bachelor's degree from Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. Dr. Ingram has clinical work experiences in a variety of settings such as outpatient clinics, private practices, medical settings, a court clinic, and inpatient psychiatric hospitals.
