Introduction

I am a firm believer that there are no regrets in life, just lessons. Every end is a new beginning. Are you ready to explore these lessons? About My Clients: Do you currently feel stuck in life no matter what you try to do? Do you wish things could change but you're not sure how to go about it? If so, you are not alone. We all stumble and fall sometimes, whether in our friendships, relationships, work, and more. The most important thing you can do for yourself is to ask for help - you do not have to do this alone! I enjoy actively participating in collaborative care with my clients. No matter the issue, you and I will work as a team to conquer all! My Background and Approach: I am a Clinical Psychologist based in Honolulu, Hawaii. I have previously provided therapy services in Washington, Oregon, and California. I received my Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology at the California School of Professional Psychology at Alliant International University, San Francisco with an emphasis in Health Psychology. I currently work full-time at my private practice in Honolulu, HI and am accepting new clients in Hawaii and Washington state for online therapy. I provide culturally-minded, comprehensive, and holistic care to adults, utilizing an integrative and collaborative treatment approach to integrate your mental health with your physical health. With over two decades of professional experience in a myriad of settings, I have worked with culturally diverse people of all ages, careers, and life experiences. In these experiences, I have worn multiple hats and have been exposed to many walks of life, making me a vast resource for you and my clients. My Personal Beliefs and Interests: I believe in counseling as a collaborative process. You are the expert of your own life, with many strengths and life experiences, and I am your guide. I always strive to inquire about the ethnic and cultural backgrounds of my clients in order to understand their sense of place and the impact of culture on their upbringing and worldviews. Using my empathic ears and reflective practice to develop a strong therapeutic alliance and establish rapport with my clients, I understand that each and every person’s story is unique. Regardless of what happened in your past, everyone deserves mental and emotional well-being. As a creative, curious, and compassionate clinician, I am hopeful that I can be an impactful catalyst of change and healing for you. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or need additional information. If my therapeutic style seems to be a good fit for you, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you!
