I have been in private practice since 2006, largely focused on the areas of grief, trauma, end of life/aging, and supporting those who are affected by addictions--which may include one's own recovery, and/or the addiction(s) of a loved one. I am committed to supporting clients in understanding their strengths, challenges, and goals so that their lives can flourish according to their personal definitions of empowerment and healing. I have experience working with veterans, hospice patients and their families, and adults (ages 18 and over) with a variety of motivations for seeking therapeutic support. I use techniques that include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy, Brainspotting techniques, Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed treatment, and holistic approaches such as dreamwork and Reiki. Everyone has a story. What is yours?
