I have been a psychologist for the last 17 years working with adults and families. I work with adults and families providing individual, group, and couples therapy. My first priority is cultivating a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you feel truly seen and heard. Therapy is a collaborative partnership, and we will work together towards goals that are meaningful for you. My work often involves helping clients increase self-acceptance, develop self-regulation skills, overcome fear/avoidance, and live more authentic, fulfilling lives. I absolutely love helping people shake off the shackles of “I should” and move towards what they truly want and need for themselves. I have experience working with clients across the lifespan who are dealing with a variety of challenges. I specialize in working with individuals seeking therapy for, stress and anxiety, depression, identity development, and relationship concerns. I draw on evidence-based interventions, Person Centered Theory and ACT, learning theory, and mindfulness. My approach prioritizes identifying and altering patterns that are impacting your day-to-day life right now. However, it is often helpful to understand how these patterns developed and were reinforced over time. Once we accept our past, we are better able to fully experience the present.
