By using insight-oriented approaches and cognitive-behavioral techniques, such as coping strategies and skills building, I will help you gain insights and tools to increase your self-awareness, enhance your communication skills, and improve your emotional well-being. I will help you develop a greater insight into the relationship between your past experiences and your present emotional reactions, thoughts, and behaviors. You will learn to better manage unhelpful thoughts and distressing emotions so that you can focus on what is really important to you. I am particularly sensitive to and have expertise in helping clients work through difficulties pertaining to immigration and cross-cultural concerns. I strive to create a safe and empathetic space for those who have been affected by war and conflict. My style is warm, interactive, and collaborative.
