Introduction

Dr. Cohen is a board-certified psychiatrist who has practiced for six years. She graduated from University of Florida with a degree in political science and from Stetson University College of Law with a law degree. She completed medical school at Howard University College of Medicine and post-graduate training at Meharry Medical College. Dr. Cohen helps her patients manage their internal state and build their self-worth so they are able to thrive in any life circumstance. She offers a custom treatment plan for every patient. In the first appointment, she starts with understanding where you are now and what you’d like to accomplish. Then, she works with you to develop a plan that meets your needs and desires. Follow up appointments will consist of continuing and/or adjusting the plan to bring you closer to your goals with each meeting. Dr. Cohen is available to treat patients via telehealth in the following states: AK, CA, CT, FL, GA, KS, MI, MN, NY, NC, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA, WI. If you are having thoughts of suicide or self-harm, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. Do not book an appointment. 2. Dr. Cohen does not provide free phone consultations, but she can respond to all questions and/or requests via email. 3. Health insurance is accepted for medication management only via helloalma.com or growtherapy.com. 4. Intake paperwork must be completed at least 24 hours prior to the initial appointment or it will be cancelled. 5. Services not provided: - formal testing for ADHD or autism - completion of FMLA paperwork - controlled substance prescriptions.
