Dr. Gaydusek specializes in the treatment of eating disorders and body image, mood and anxiety disorders, and relationship concerns. Dr. Gaydusek's approach to therapy is collaborative, supportive, and empathetic and she integrates empirically supported client-centered interventions into her practice to provide symptom relief. Dr. Gaydusek strongly believes in the importance of using scientific evidence-based treatments and tailoring these treatments to the individual. Dr. Gaydusek primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), exposure therapy, and mindfulness based approaches in her treatment with clients. She is also trained in Maudsley Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders and uses Gottman Method Couples Therapy in her work. Dr. Gaydusek has more than 10 years of clinical and research experience. Dr. Gaydusek has worked at numerous treatment facilities and varying levels of care, ranging from inpatient to outpatient. She has extensive experience in conducting individual, group, and family therapy.
