Introduction

My approach to treatment is based on the belief that each individual has the ability to heal and change. In my work, I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment where we can build a trusting and collaborative relationship towards positive change. My approach is to treat the individual by addressing the many areas that make them whole, while helping them improve functioning, growth, self-efficacy and resilience. I have extensive training working with individuals, couples and families. My emphasis is working with individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, loss and grief, cancer patients and caregivers, along with trauma related to history of abuse. I feel that most everyone can benefit from mental health services by receiving the appropriate treatment to cope with life stressors and address their mental health concerns related to depression, anxiety, and trauma among other conditions. The goal of the treatment and interventions is to assist the individual in healing and achieving a sense of wholeness and wellbeing. In my work, I make an effort to treat each individual as a whole to help them reach a deeper level of insight and understanding that will improve not just their lives, but the lives of their families and their environment. I am passionate about helping individual heal from trauma and reach a level of well-being and sense of inner peace in their life. I look forward to working with you!
