Introduction

Courtney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holds a doctoral degree in social work. Courtney is clinically trained and credentialed in perinatal mental health and has a passion for working with parents during all stages of the parenting journey. Becoming a mom and being a mom can foster moments of challenge and stress. The perinatal period, to include fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, postpartum disorders and varying isolating experiences can be difficult to navigate and knowing when to reach out for additional support can be confusing. Courtney encourages parents to lean into external supports, such as talk therapy, as a means of enhancing coping mechanisms during this season of life. Courtney also has an extensive background in grief and loss, having a passion for walking with individuals as they navigate their grief journey. Although grief is a normal response to loss, navigating and discussing the grief process if often difficult for many. Courtney utilizes a person-centered approach by recognizing that grief looks very different for each individual, as well as providing a safe place for individuals to explore, process and discuss their journey. Courtney is a firm believer that we are not broken individuals that require fixing, however, may be in need of external support to provide coaching, encouragement, and tools for success along the way. With a person-centered approach, Courtney seeks to provide a holistic therapy experience that addresses your unique needs during your current season of life. As a military veteran, Courtney finds comfort and guidance in the idea of consistency and commends you today for taking the first steps towards creating a new pattern of consistency within yourself, your environment, and the goals in which you will set together. Dr. Greer is in office and available for telehealth appointments on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00am-7:00pm
