Introduction

At Carolina Trauma Recovery, I believe that healing from trauma is not just possible, but empowering. The strongest people I have ever met have been, undoubtedly, the survivors of trauma I have had the pleasure to work with over my career. My approach is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration, ensuring that every client feels heard, valued, and safe. I understand that trauma impacts my client’s in unique ways, and I honor the complexity and intersectionality of each of their lived experiences. I currently offer individual therapy services for adults (18+) exclusively via teletherapy for residents of North Carolina. I specialize in treating Trauma-Related Concerns/Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Depression, Anxiety, Adjustment-Related Concerns and Navigating Difficult Life Transitions, Burnout and Chronic Stress, Traumatic Grief and Loss, Women’s Issues, and provide LGBTQIA+ Affirming Care. My therapeutic approach is integrative in the sense that I don’t utilize a “one-size-fits-all” method. I pull from different treatment modalities that are tailored to your specific needs and treatment goals, which we determine collaboratively together. I only utilize therapeutic techniques that are evidence-based, meaning they are scientifically proven through substantial research to provide the best treatment outcomes for healing and recovery from trauma.
