Introduction

I am a passionate doctor working with diverse individuals with different challenges. My mission throughout my professional career has been to help individuals overcome traumatic experiences impacting their lives and sensations to experience joy. I possess a wide range of skills, and therapy modalities that help my clients overcome depressive cycles, anxious moments, and insecurities about abilities. I specialize in Dialectical Behavior skills training, trauma processing, and mindfulness to help empower individuals to make effective changes in their lives. My clinical work is sensitive to the multicultural stressors of diverse marginalized communities. Therefore as a Latinx woman, I remain thoughtful, empathic, and sensitive to my BIPOC communities by empowering them with transparency and skills to achieve self-validation. My bicultural experiences have driven my professional goals to continue advancing academic knowledge in academic and clinical settings of the cultural and linguistic barriers that impact treatment practices for many communities. For this reason, I use mindfulness approaches and client-centered treatment planning to inform patient care. I welcome everyone to the journey of healing and self-discovery.
