When working with clients my goal is to work myself out of a job. What I mean by that is, I believe my roll as your counselor is to teach you the skills and techniques necessary so you can reach your goals. If you are looking for a counselor who takes a collaborative approach to therapy while holding you accountable and highlighting your wins, then you have found the right one. I believe that a healthy relationship starts within. Whether you are single, dating, or in a relationship, I take the time to help you uncover your wants, desires, and most importantly, your roadblocks that are preventing you from achieving the relationship you desire. Over the years, my appreciation for wellness has grown. I have found that recognizing your triggers and implementing wellness techniques can help maintain balance in your life. Often times, it can be the smallest adjustments that make the biggest impact. I help you navigate this process by helping you become more in tune with your actions and thoughts because I believe that our thoughts affect our actions and our actions affect our thoughts, and once we have a better understanding of that, we can reach our goals (cognitive behavior). Additionally, I believe it is important to identify solutions and what works in our everyday life so that we can realistically work towards our goals (solution focused).
