Introduction

I specialize in Health Psychology assessment and counseling, exploring the relationships between your health, emotions, and behaviors. Board-certified in Clinical Health Psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. I see patients via telehealth ("video visits") anywhere in Texas, allowing greater access to this highly specialized service. I have advanced training and experience working with clients that are dealing with health problems, including chronic illness, chronic pain, and adjusting to a new medical diagnosis such as cancer. You may be struggling with anxiety about your health, experiencing sadness and frustration regarding how your medical issues are impacting your quality of life, and are seeking ways to help manage the stress of health problems. Some clients need pre-surgical assessments (e.g., Transplant, bariatric procedures, plastic surgery) as part of their medical workup. Are you worried about your health? Do your health problems limit your ability to enjoy your life's activities? Has a doctor told you that you need a pre-surgical psychological assessment? Dealing with medical illness and injury can be extremely difficult, but you're not alone. Contact me today for a healthier tomorrow!
