As a dedicated therapist, my mission is to assist individuals in navigating the complexities of mental health and the recovery process. I firmly believe that each person possesses the potential for transformation and the right to explore diverse paths toward personal development, with therapy serving as one of those routes. I am fully licensed in Illinois as both a Clinical Therapist and Supervisor. Recognizing the deeply personal and often intricate nature of mental health challenges, I adopt a client-centered approach that prioritizes the unique needs, experiences, and aspirations of each individual. My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Therapy, employing a range of techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness practices to effectively address various mental health challenges. These issues include mood disorders, anxiety, personality disorders, trauma, eating disorders, addiction, among many other symptoms. I pay close attention to socio-economic factors, life stages, sexual orientation, and other mental health conditions from the most basic to advance cases, as well as the mental health issues arising from difficulties associated with physical disabilities, chronic illness, grief/ loss and life transitions. I am committed to enhancing access to mental health care, particularly for marginalized communities. My focus extends beyond education and research to include the delivery of accessible, evidence-based treatment and advocacy. I strive to combat stigma, raise awareness, and assist individuals and families in locating vital resources. While recovery may not always be a linear journey, healing is undoubtedly achievable, primarily through one's willingness to engage and by being paired with the most effective support. Please contact the office to schedule an appointment. We are open from Monday to Friday and half-day on weekends. I look forward to meeting you and serving as a valuable resource on your journey toward healing and optimal well-being.
