Dr. Jones’s work is based on the belief that people want to be happy, effective, and successful in their lives and that they have within themselves the resources to achieve these goals. She believes that psychotherapy can help individuals most effectively use their resources to increase self-understanding, improve decision-making, solve problems, and create paths to the lives they desire. She offers a compassionate therapeutic approach that includes recognized and accepted psychotherapies, training for behavioral changes, as well as Existential Psychotherapy (talk therapy addressing life meaning, goals & choices). The majority of her training and work has been with adolescents who have experienced trauma, but she also has extensive experience working with adults and young children. Her goal is to help those she has contact with enhance their lives and be the best version of themselves.
