Introduction

Welcome! My name is Dr. Alexander Harne and I am a licensed psychologist and college professor with many years of experience in clinical therapy and psychological evaluations. I earned my Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where I cultivated a strong foundation in evidence-based practices and comprehensive care. I work closely with individuals and families, helping them navigate complex issues. My focus is on fostering resilience, growth, and long-term well-being by addressing challenges head-on and finding effective ways to cope with life’s unpredictability. Psychotherapy sessions are typically 45 minutes and can be held either in-person or virtually during weekday evenings. Depending on your current needs, we can meet weekly, biweekly, or monthly. My goal is to provide a structured and supportive environment where you feel comfortable exploring your concerns and working toward meaningful change. Psychological evaluations are generally scheduled on Saturdays and involve multiple hours of in-person assessments. This process includes gathering information from individuals who regularly interact with the client, conducting clinical interviews, and completing a variety of standardized tests. Clients receive a comprehensive psychological report that outlines both quantitative and qualitative findings and explains how a diagnosis was or was not formed. Depending on the type of evaluation, the process may take one day or span multiple sessions.
