Introduction

I am a licensed psychologist, college professor, and certified school psychologist with over a decade of experience specializing in adolescent and young adult mental health. I focus on helping individuals navigate life’s major transitions, such as school challenges, career changes, and relationship difficulties. My expertise also includes addressing complex mental health issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. I believe in using evidence-based therapies to ensure meaningful and effective outcomes for my clients. My background in research drives me to question unproven, pop-psychology methods and avoid unrealistic approaches. I prioritize treatment that is rooted in scientific evidence and designed to foster resilience, personal growth, and long-term well-being. Life is unpredictable and challenging, but together, we can find ways to cope with the difficulties you face. We are all works in progress, and it takes hard work to grow in healthy and beneficial ways. Even the most capable among us sometimes need help recalibrating, readjusting, and finding new direction. I’m here to offer that support and guidance when you’re ready to take the next step. Many clients are reimbursed for 50 to 80 percent of the session fee through out-of-network benefits, and I’m happy to help you check your available coverage. For those facing financial hardship, I offer a sliding scale. Additionally, 10 percent of my clients are seen pro bono, without any fee. My goal is to make quality mental health care accessible to all who need it.
