Dr. Aimee Zhang (she/her)

Clinical Psychologist California Therapy and Wellness
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Stress, Trauma, Body Image Disorders,

Introduction

I am so glad you are here. Choosing to work on yourself is not easy. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise in treating adults and teens. Prior to founding my private practice, I was a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stanford University. My approach has been described as warm, open, and collaborative. My clients inspire me with their courage to seek help and their willingness to work hard to improve their lives. I would be honored to partner with you to help you reach your goals. I’d love to schedule a free 15-min consultation call with you via phone or video to get to know you. I have specialized training from Stanford and the Palo Alto VA in the treatment of stress, mood, anxiety disorders, trauma and PTSD, body image and disordered eating, and multicultural diversity. I also have experience working with clients on topics such as effective communication and interpersonal relationships, life transitions, identity, and grief/loss. Outside of clinical work, I supervise graduate students, serve as a consultant to digital health startup companies, and conduct research in the dissemination and implementation of evidence-based treatments. I have published my research in peer-reviewed journal articles and presented my work at national and international conferences.
