Dr. Skierkowski-Foster, PhD is a licensed clinical psychologist in Rhode Island. She completed her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of Rhode Island, her MA in General Psychology from Central Connecticut State University, and her BA in Anthropology and Psychology from the University of Connecticut. She also completed her clinical internship at the West Haven, CT VA and her post-doctoral fellowship in advanced quantitative methods in mental health and clinical neuroscience at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. She specializes in using evidence-based strategies to improve mental health outcomes for patients with a wide range of mental health concerns. She has experience providing treatment to individuals and groups across an array of settings, including private outpatient, community mental health, inpatient, partial hospitalization, and correctional facilities. In addition to individual treatment services, Shoreline CBT offers a range of group offerings. Current groups include: 1) mindfulness based stress reduction, 2) flourishing through perimenopause, and 3) mindful sports performance enhancement for athletes across sports disciplines.
