I am a Clinical Psychologist with a passion for working with adolescents and adults. I began my career as a Middle School teacher and quickly moved into the world of psychology. I have 25+ years experience in working as a therapist. In addition to working in the private practice, I also work in a private high school for boys. I have extensive experience in working with adolescents, young adults and couples. I view therapy as a collaborative process that is built upon openness, understanding and hope. My work with clients is focused on developing a healthy sense of self in order to engage in the challenges of daily life more easily. The therapeutic relationship is key and is developed throughout the therapy experience. My goal is to help each client feel seen and heard. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who experience anxiety, depression, interpersonal conflict and self-esteem. These often stem from a wider range of issues that I also have experience working with such as self-doubt, work-related stress, grief and loss, life changes, and trauma.
