Dominique Petrassi

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #126889 Dominique Petrassi, LMFT #126889
Available in June
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, LGBTQIA+, Relationship Issues,

Introduction

I have experience working with anxiety, depression, interpersonal/relationship difficulties, and trauma-related symptoms as well as people struggling with coming out, questioning their sexual/gender identity, or other issues connected with the unique experiences of being LGBTQQIAPK+ in our society. I am also trained in EMDR, a therapeutic approach that helps to effectively alleviate the distress associated with traumatic or distressing memories. Adapting a variety of practices and therapies with a LGBTQ+ affirmative lens, I will help you to explore and identify what may be interfering with your ability to live a fulfilling life. I work collaboratively with you to develop your goals and make sure that the sessions are tailored to your unique needs and experiences. We will work together to alleviate emotional distress and empower you to access your untapped potential, increase healthy self-esteem and coping skills, and overcome the harmful effects of social oppression and discrimination. Please feel free to reach out and schedule a free 15-20 minute consultation. *I am currently an out-of-network provider; however, some insurance providers will accept a superbill at the end of each month that you can submit if you have any ‘out-of-network psychotherapy’ benefits. If you do, you may be reimbursed a portion of the monthly fees paid.
