Hello, I am Dominique Leon a licensed therapist in Culpeper, Virginia. I provide clinical therapy services via tele-health and plan to offer in-office options in the future. I understand that raising children can be challenging and unfortunately, they are not immune to mental and behavioral challenges. Life transitions for teens and young adults can be exhausting and traumatic leading to increased anxiety, withdraw, depression and conflict in relationships. In all of these challenges, parents can feel lost and overwhelmed trying to find ways to best support their children or manage unwanted behaviors at home and in school. I have over ten years of experience treating serious mental illness in children and adolescents resulting from significant trauma. My experience allows me to align with parents, supporting the family system in developing healthy connections, reducing unwanted behaviors and creating children who feel secure and safe. For young adults seeking therapy for themselves, I understand how challenging life transitions can be and hope to provide you with relief and the ability to use your strengths to resolve difficulties you face.
