Dominique Jackson-Pittman, MSW, LCSW (SHE/HER/HERS) Dominique is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Indiana. Dominique holds, both a BSW and MSW in Social Work from Indiana State University. Dominique has worked in the field of social work for over ten years, with over five of those being clinical. Dominique has worked in many areas of the social work field, including: child welfare, child and adolescent mental health, adult mental health, crisis, additions, and corrections. Dominique believes in the inherent strength and purpose every individual possesses. She believes in a judgement free space while individuals work on building self through a positive therapeutic process. While her niche is work with young adults, Dominique works with children, older adults, family units, and couples struggling with mental health difficulties. Dominique uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI). She is also trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy. In her spare time, Dominique enjoys family time, above all. She loves watching and playing sports, including basketball, swimming, and boxing. She enjoys coaching youth sports in her spare time. She loves playing video games. She loves comedy, action, and crime shows: some of her favorites include Anime, crime TV, and talk shows. She believes laughter is the best medicine and believes self-care is the staple of managing mental health symptoms. One fun fact about Dominique is, she enjoys Googling random facts to spread knowledge to unsuspecting friends and family.
