Dominique Battle is a Board-Certified Counselor, Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, Certified Family Therapist, and a Registered Clinical Mental Health Counselor in the State of Florida. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Public Service/Human Services from Middle Georgia State University, her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and Case Management from Fort Valley State University, and her 2nd Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Counseling from Walden University. She is currently pursuing her PhD in Organizational Development and Change, specializing in Sustainability Leadership from Fielding Graduate University. As a Certified Mental Health Integrative Medicine Provider, Dominique finds her passion in treating mental health issues utilizing a “whole-person approach”. By applying evidence-based practices that address clients’ physical health to enhance their mental health, she focuses her treatment in the areas of herbal medicine, nutritional therapies, nutritional supplementation, cultural medicine, and assessments on nutrition’s impact on mental health, to name a few. Dominique has over 10 years of clinical training and professional experience in treating adolescents, adults, and couples. She has specialized training in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Level 1 Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Level 3 QPR-T (Question, Persuade, Refer, Treat) Advanced Suicide Risk Assessment and Management and Adoption-Competent Therapy. She is also a Brainspotting Practitioner, where she utilizes an advanced brain-body therapy that focuses on identifying, processing, and releasing imbalances, trauma, and residual emotional stress and an EMDR-Trained Therapist, where she practices an eight-phase psychotherapeutic treatment protocol that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences.
