Introduction

"D" has had a wonderful and challenging life of experiences before becoming a licensed social worker in 2008. He's lived on both coasts as an actor and production designer in NY and LA, and over those early years, a bartender in 10 different states. "D" has personal experience with mental illness, chemical dependency, homelessness, and surviving one day at a time. He made the decision to move back to Minnesota to start a family and switched his career focus to helping others; the way he was helped during his times of struggle. "D" specializes in providing therapy to those battling co-occurring disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, stress, and anger. He utilizes EMDR, CBT, Strengths-based, Insight-oriented, and anger management therapy modalities. "D" provides therapy to adult individuals only.
