Dillon is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California, supervised by Dr. Thomas Lucking, as well as a coach. He currently supports individual clients, couples, and families. Dillon’s approach emphasizes the values and strengths of each client. Dillon works to create a safe, nonjudgmental environment for clients to sit with and process challenging emotions and to reflect on various thoughts and ideas. With Dillon’s support, clients will then build on this foundation of self-awareness to identify their core values, develop authentic and personal aspirations, and take tangible steps towards their goals. Dillon supports clients who are experiencing career challenges, such as struggles in a current role or uncertainty about future path. With Dillon, clients will reflect on their professional journey to date, personal history, strengths, and values. Dillon then helps clients consider how to more fully utilize these strengths and values in current and future roles. Once clients have identified desired career moves, Dillon will assist with practical action such as building resumes, applying to new jobs, networking, and effectively interviewing. In his work with couples and families, Dillon holds space for clients to listen deeply to one another as they voice their lived experience. Clients can expect to identify cycles that trigger conflict, understand their underlying needs and those of their partner and/or family, and practice new behaviors that strengthen relational connection.
