If I had a super power... it would be to allow everyone a moment of peace where they can forgive themselves and know they have a special place in this world, unique to themselves and wanted by others. Too often we lose faith in ourselves and in the people who love us. Therapy, counseling, and coaching can lead us to know we have strength, can feel peace, and experience the sense of belonging. My practice has been focused on children and adolescents with behavior disorders, adults with substance abuse problems, and families recovering from trauma. I have worked in the mental health field, full time, since 1992. I earned a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy in 1992 from Fairfield University. I have been a licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor since 1993. I earned my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2004. I have been married for over 25 years, my wife and I are raising our three children in Danbury, ct. I am a native of New Orleans Louisiana, and have a Cajun's love of food, music and hospitality.
