Introduction

Our youth is a joyous time…..and also infinitely complex! As we grow, our world begins to open up, presenting us with challenges we’ve never faced before. For many adolescents, teens, and young adults, this time in their lives is filled with self-doubt and worry. Friendships, social situations, academic and work pressures, family and friend struggles, and changing life roles can all seem overwhelming. Many times these stresses can show up in the body as anxiety, depression, and low self-esteem. These emotions are overwhelming and can make the normal ups and downs of adolescence and young adulthood that much harder to navigate. Let me be a part of your team! I am a former school-teacher, mom of teenagers, and a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate, with a passion for helping young people! Learning how to cope with life today sets the stage for us as we grow. I look forward to helping you develop the resilience you need to face your challenges and enjoy these years.
