My name is Diana, and I'm a therapist working with adults in North Carolina. My work as a therapist is centered around the values of social justice, equality, client self-determination, and collaboration. My clients are often seeking support and strategies for improving their day-to-day quality of life. They would like to improve feelings of depression and anxiety, decrease stress, and improve their relationships. I believe that we are all good and worthy of respect, that our actions are not our identities, and that there is always time and space to make a change. I respect your decisions about your life, as you are the expert in your experiences and preferences. I am here to walk with you, I’m not here to tell you what to do or where to go. Our work together will be paced to suit your needs. Some people would like to do a briefer, more solution-focused course of treatment. They may want to focus on making changes, trying out different strategies, and resolving therapy quickly. Other people prefer time to slowly work through issues, utilizing introspection and diving deeper into emotions and thoughts. Many people fall somewhere in between. All of these options are valid, and I’m here to move at whatever pace you’re most comfortable with.
